What if Anakin Skywalker mastered all light and dark side force abilities? Let's explore the depths of it in the video. Anakin stared at the approaching figure, a stunning woman bathed in an ethereal light that left her looking almost otherworldly, even more so than the rest of the other things he seen on Mortise. Despite that, her face was racked with worry. Are you an angel? What? What? What? An angel? I've heard the deep space pilots talk about them. They're the most beautiful creatures in the universe. The comment does not amuse the mortise god, though her expression softens somewhat as she guides Anakin away from the rock slide, telling him that this is the work of her brother, the representation of the dark side. She takes him to her shelter and sits him down. You sense the power of this place too, young one. This is where the force flows strongly, more powerful than any place in the galaxy. Is where you will find your destiny. What are you talking about? I need to find my friends. Don't you see? You are the greatest dangers of your friends. You are unbalanced, illprepared for the task ahead of you. The dark side will use that to destroy everything you love unless you prevent it. Anakin whirls around. His anger flashes, but the daughter's calming aura gives him pause. Although angry, he is not sure what gets him thinking. Since the start of the war, he has ignored all this talk of the chosen one, putting it aside to focus on the battles in front of him and what is in his control. But the thoughts of the chosen one are never too far from his mind. He knows that it is his responsibility to bring peace and order to the galaxy. And yet, everything seems more chaotic than ever. The Sith are rising, and so far Anakin hasn't been able to stop them. Though no one says it, he begins thinking that responsibility is his. You You were right. But I don't know how. Do not despair, young one. That is why I brought you here, to teach you how to master the skills with the Force. There is only so much a Jedi can do. You must learn the Force from its very source, but this requires you to do as I say. Uh, I I will do as you ask. The first thing she requests is perhaps the most difficult, to let his friends go. The daughter explains how his friends are in grave danger. Just as she represents the light side of the force, her brother represents the dark side. He will doubtlessly be looking to reach Anakin. He must keep him out of there, lest the son use his friends against him. It takes some convincing, but Anakin is convinced to let them go, saying he must learn from this place. He promises to contact them once they're safe, though this is a lie. He watches their ship take off. Anakin clenches his fist, wondering if he is making a huge mistake. Once they're gone, Anakin begins his training with the daughter. And one of the first things he learns is that time ceases to have meaning on Mortise. What feels like hours here end up being days outside the galaxy. And yet, Anakin ages like normal. The sunless sky glows in a strange eternal light. As Anakin kneels beneath a tree, everything around him is thick with the Force, radiating power like no other. Though invisible, he can almost feel it right under the surface. You are the bridge between what was and what must be, Anakin Skywalker. And yet you do not understand what it means to carry both light and dark within you. So let me enlighten you. She begins with the fundamentals, not to belittle him, but to rebuild him. To unlearn the rigidity of the Jedi code and open him to the true nature of the Force. Healing, for one, is not simply closing wounds and mending bones. It is restoring harmony in body and soul. Everything is connected in the force, but things can become separated. So, she shows him how to coax it back together. They practice on the wounded beasts of Mortise. And that is where the daughter teaches him the next lesson, animal bonding. She explains that this is not control, but communication. The beasts are just part of the force like him. It is about showing them that their goals are the same and asking for their aid. It requires understanding their needs and showing them how to help further both of their goals. They are not beasts to tame. They are the force in motion. Each technique is more than powerful. It is surrender. It is understanding. Such as with battle meditation. It is all about connection. As in battle, those you fight with are extensions of a single mass. So she shows Anakin how to make use of that to become one with the organism and to help steer it right, spreading calm, inspiring confidence and seeing what they see. Only then can they live in harmony. In his moments of rest, she teaches him force enlightenment, how to strip away the noise of anger, fear, and ego. Only when those are removed can he find peace and understand the needs of the galaxy around him. For someone as troubled as Anakin, the chance to sit back and not worry about anything is a welcome reprieve. And in those moments, he finds peace. These lessons are difficult, and the daughter pulls no punches. The days without difficulty are the days you do not improve. Years pass, or perhaps it is only days. On Mortise, time flows like water in a dream. His hair does not grow, his body does not age, but his soul deepens. only progress, only transformation and worry. Though the daughter teaches him everything she knows, she is always looking over her shoulder for her brother, the one who might corrupt him. She fully expects to find him somewhere, waiting to attack and strike in a moment of weakness. But she does not find him. Even as the daughter peers into the shadows, she finds nothing, as if he has disappeared. A part of her wishes that it means he's been purged from Mortise due to Anakin's progress, but she is not that naive. One day, Anakin sits alone and meditates, trying to clear his head after another harsh day of training. He closes his eyes and clears his head, feeling the force all around him. Though he cannot see, his mind pictures perfectly everything that has happened around him. He normally only sees Mortise, but today things are different as his vision takes him beyond this walled garden. The galaxy comes into view. He sees it not as stars and systems, but as a web of life, a glowing net of souls, thoughts, movements. But the web is broken. Its weavingings torn aunderder and weakened as dark tendrils wrap around this web, threatening to snap them at their foundations. A corruption. It winds through senators, through kings, through desperate warriors and fanatics, across the common people and the Jedi. It feeds on fear, anger, and ambition. It whispers promises and devours futures. The Sith. He gasps, breaking from the vision. His breath shakes. His hand trembles. You see now what has always been and what must be done. I do. Then you are ready. She provides him with the mortise dagger just in case. And Anakin at last activates his emergency beacon. And soon after a ship arrives to pick him up. Obi-Wan and Ahsoka are both understandably curious as to what happened to him and why it took him so long to contact them. Anakin says he needed to clear his head for a few weeks and understand the Force, but they reveal that Anakin's been gone for almost 2 years. But now the Clone Wars is at its bloodiest phase, the Outer Rim sieges. As they depart Mortise, Anakin senses this as well, and the dark side feels stronger than ever, more present and sharpened. As whatever Sith Lord is out there continues to gain power, Anakin wants to return to the front immediately. At first, the other Jedi are worried since Anakin has been gone for so long that they worry he might no longer be able to handle the task. But whatever worries they have soon disappear when they see him in battle. It turns out his skills in battle have hardly faded, and if anything, he's now significantly stronger than ever before. The light side flows through him as easily as blood flows through his body. And with that power, he now has a place to unleash it. All across the battlefield, Anakin makes a name for himself. Cutting through swaths of droids and rallying troops. His battle meditation leaves his clones morale surging. Even against impossible odds, he somehow manages to maintain morale and lead his troops through the chaos and hardships. But his tactics, while always unpredictable, get even more wild that turns him into the bane of the droid armies. Anakin becomes known for performing impossible feats like summoning beasts to join his army, healing the most grievous injuries, and even bypassing the most fortified locations. With Anakin, the war effort receives a breath of new life. As the clone forces begin to advance, the young Jedi is driven by a sense of purpose unmatched anywhere else. As he remembers the task given to him by the daughter, this leads him to not just fight the droids, but seek out pockets of darkness. When he meditates, Anakin finds himself looking back into a web of the force which connects everything. This becomes his road map, guiding him to where he should move and search for the darkness. And from a general, Anakin also becomes a hunter. He begins targeting these places, patches of darkness that foul the force. These are controlled by cults, acolytes, and dark side monsters. and all of them fall before Anakin, who hunts them down with ruthless efficiency. While his troops march into war, he occasionally breaks off and goes hunting, tracking down these beings and destroying them in hopes of restoring balance. And bit by bit, the darkness, which has a strangle hold over the force, begins to ease up. He can see the darkness coiling around the web, breaking away in small pieces, and this drives Anakin to continue fighting. But he soon learns that it isn't just those who channel the dark side that are responsible for this. Everything is connected, even those who are not forcesensitive, like many of Dooku's pawns. His warlords, terrorists, and criminals are all equally responsible for this chaos. So, Anakin turns on them as well. These people fall even faster to his lightsaber, slicing through them like a scythe to wheat. And yet, for everyone that falls, another is ready to take its place. For every victory, Anakin hardly sees a difference in the Force, which is still drowning in darkness. Anakin begins having visions of darkness, sensing something terrible growing stronger. That night, he dreams of Count Dooku. He sees him cloaked in shadows, whispering in the ears of senators, pulling strings in the name of peace while feeding the war in the CIS. He sees the warlords and armies he has backed, the corrupted senators he supported. In every vision, Dooku stands at the center like a spider in a vast web. When Anakin wakes, his decision is made. He tracks Dooku to a forgotten world, scarred by battle as Dooku meets with some of the warlords he's backed. Once he hears the progress report, the count nods happily as across the streets, the droids are at work, crushing any dissenters who get in his way. But Anakin slips through these defenses with ease, letting the Force guide him across the fields to confront the man responsible for the war. Dooku stops at an old temple created by the Sith. He wanders through the ruins, paying his respect to those who came before him. Then he senses something, a change in power, and ignites his blade. From the shadows, Anakin emerges. His lightsaber is ignited as Dooku does the same. The count chuckles, seeing him alone, but then he senses the power within the boy. From a wildfire, he sees Anakin now tempered and hardened like a fine blade. Without another word, the Jedi rushes at him. Anakin leaps from column to column and propels himself towards the count who blocks the strike, though feels the immense pressure he is giving off. For a moment, he halts the attack, but then finds himself being pushed back as Anakin throws a sweeping strike. Dooku tries to rush in, driving his lightsaber forward, aiming to end things quickly, but he only hits the air as Anakin gracefully flips through and goes on the attack once again. His slashes are aggressive, but disciplined, leaving no openings for the count to exploit. Instead, it is Dooku who must defend as Anakin gives him no breathing room. In desperation, the count faints a thrust, then slashes, manages to score shallow wounds, but then Anakin rushes in and slams his fist into him, sending the older warrior flying back. Groaning, Dooku unleashes a torrent of lightning. Yet, it does little as Anakin blocks the strikes and continues to rush forward. Taking a deep breath, the Jedi recalls what the daughter taught him in Mortise. He doesn't surrender to the darkness. Instead, he breathes and lets the flow of the universe rush through him. He thinks of all the suffering he's seen, the darkness corrupting the force, and what he needs to do. As Dooku stabs at him again, Anakin pushes the blade aside and pushes his hand against Dooku's chest, pinning him against the wall. The count's eyes widen as the blade stabs downward into his chest. Anakin takes a deep breath before lowering his weapon. He closes his eyes once again and immediately feels the air getting lighter as if the force is balancing itself, but then it stops. Anakin opens his eyes and looks around. The force does indeed seem closer to balance, but the darkness remains. It remains as oppressive and commanding as ever. Dooku wasn't the only source. And then he hears the clapping. Anakin looks around as he senses something cold and ancient, powerful. The sky above the temple darkens unnaturally. Clouds twist into spirals and then he steps from the shadows. The sun. You hoped it would end with one man, but you've only trimmed a branch. The root remains. I was wondering when you'd show up. Your sister was looking for you. I was just exploring this galaxy of yours. When your friends fled Mortis, they left an open door, a crack, enough for a shadow to escape. So, you were responsible for this. If only I was. Unfortunately, I cannot claim credit. I am not the darkness. I am only its voice. The darkness is not bound to a man. It exists in the hearts of all. In you, you're wrong. Am I? The light taught you serenity. It gave you clarity. But did it give you answers or only delay the truth you already feel? The war won't end. Corruption fers in every Senate hall, every system. Peace is a lie. Balance is an illusion. Even if you destroy the Sith, they will remain unless you embrace it. The daughter showed me the truth. I don't need the dark side. The son lifts a hand and opens it. In the air between them swirl visions, memories that are not his. Ancient wars, forgotten rituals, powers hidden from the Jedi, lightning born from hatred, life consumed to preserve one's own. A warrior using his rage to tear down fleets with a scream. Flesh reshaped by will alone. Knowledge the Jedi denied you. Power the Sith squandered. But you, you could master both, light and dark, just as Revan. And with that, you can reshape the galaxy however you wish. Silence hangs between them. The visions won't stop. War, death, flame. He sees the galaxy fracturing. Billions crying out for a savior. For him, he tries to meditate as the daughter taught him to silence the storm. But the light feels distant now, weak. In this place, it does not reach him. But the sun does. You've done everything they asked, and still the suffering continues. Let us fix that. Anakin looks up, trying to channel the powers within him to resist, but his will is failing, and instead he simply bows. Teach me. The training begins just as it did with the daughter, but twisted, harsher, demanding. Where the daughter teaches patience, the son teaches aggression. Where the light embraces harmony, the dark demanded domination. There is no line the sun won't cross. He has Anakin scour the battlefields like a vulture. Anakin continues to lead his troops like normal, but the sun is never far away, whispering to him. He shows Anakin how to siphon life with force drain to heal his soldiers. He shows him how to channel force rage to let him break through the defenses of a warlord and crush their guards without having to drag his troops into war. He has him repeat this not just on CIS loyalists, but also Republic allies, those who would hide behind a cloak of legitimacy to cover up their atrocities. The son reminds Anakin that there is no difference between them. All have embraced the dark side and all deserve to die. He projects his spirit across systems, warning resistance groups of hidden corruption before it takes root. He delves into Sith alchemy, not to twist flesh, but to heal it in ways the Jedi healers could only dream of. He uses darkness to do good. The galaxy begins to change. Word spreads of a powerful warrior who frees people of suffering, who purges darkness from the galaxy in ways the Jedi can only imagine of. He brings the hope that the Jedi never could. He feels these beings who surrender to the darkness at a faster pace than ever before. He sees it chipping away at the darkness, clawing at the force. But every time Anakin draws on the dark side, it costs him. His dreams become colder. Faces blur. Padme, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan. The connection he has to the galaxy fades. No longer does he see everything as clarity. From fellow beings, their presence blurs to dots on a map. Obstacles and things. Yet, the daughter sees this. She sees the light she had carefully tended grow more distance, fading fast and hanging only by a thread. So, she decides to try and contact him in his dreams and bring him back to the light. You're walking the same path Dooku did. I'm doing what you asked. I'm hunting the darkness. Oh, while you throw yourself in the dark side, indulging in its powers and then destroying those around you. That is not what I taught you, young Jedi. I'm doing more good now than I ever did before. The daughter approaches, placing a hand over his heart. Is that why your spirit feels hollow? I know I put pressure on you, but to save the galaxy and bring balance is not simply to defeat your foes. It is also to be an example for others. Anakin steps back. His expression waivers from wanting to accept the good he's doing. For a moment, it looks as though he might listen to her, but then he shakes his head and steps back. I haven't failed. No, not yet. But given enough time, you won't even feel the difference. And yet, for all his success, Anakin has yet to track the Sith Lord down. The one who commanded Dooku to start this war. As he fights through the galaxy, the son offers to help him find it. They will perform an ancient Sith ritual to unmask his presence in the Force. But for that, Anakin must provide them with a sacrifice, and he finds it. Taking the essence of various warlords and corrupt senators he's dealt with. Using that, the sun begins casting his spell. As their blood decorates the ruins of an ancient Sith temple, Anakin watches as images rush through his mind. Palpatine, the Sith Lord, hides behind a thousand masks as he stands as the most powerful man in the galaxy, manipulating the Clone Wars, preparing to seize the galaxy now that Dooku has failed. Far across the galaxy, within the ancient heart of the Force, the daughter stirs. She sees what Anakin is doing and gasps, reaching out to those who might be able to stop him as she remains trapped on Mortise. Anakin is slipping further into the shadows. Not lost yet, but teetering. She searches for those who might help him and finds two his old Padawan and Master. Please, I need your help. What? What is this? Who are you? A friend. Your apprentice needs you. Anakin, what happened? Someone is corrupting him, my brother. He is leading him down a path of which there is no returning. You must save him. Are you the reason he remained on Mortis? I am. I hoped to prepare him for his mission in this galaxy to bring balance to the Force. But I need your help. All right. Where is he? Within the darkened halls of Palpatines's home, he considers his next option. Though Dooku might be dead, there is still a chance to get the outcome he wishes for. So long as he sws enough chaos, he shall be able to gain power. But as long as he consolidates his plans, he sees a storm brewing. Suddenly, a figure appears in the midst of a lightning strike. You've finally come. I was worried you were lost. Anakin says nothing. His lightsaber knights. It is not too late. You know, you may still join me. I have no desire to serve the likes of you. Palpatine laughs and readies his own weapon. The duel begins in a flash of lightning as Palpatine thrusts his hands forward. But this attack is stopped right in its tracks by Anakin, who steps forward and rushes at him, sending sparks everywhere. As the Chancellor's carpet smolders, he uses the force to propel it forward. As Anakin gives into the dark side, lending him strength, he channels Force rage into his strength as his lightsaber meets Palpatine. But the Chancellor is shocked to see himself thrown back. Anakin's power is overwhelming, but he does not yield. He carries his next strike and then slashes back towards him. The Jedi leaps aside and then thrusts his weapon forward. Palpatine blocks it and pulls Anakin close where he unleashes a burst of force energy through his shriek. He expects fear and doubt to consume the boy, but instead he holds his ground and shoves him back. His shock only grows as Anakin unleashes a burst of lightning, but red and forces Palpatine to block the attack. In desperation, Palpatine aims another shriek towards his surroundings. Glass shatters. Statues crumble while he hurls it. Anakin is too strong. He weaves through the storm with nothing more than a few cuts and then he unleashes it back. Palpatine screams as it cuts deep gouges across his body and sends him crumpling to the ground. But as he tries to crawl away, Anakin channels force drained to weaken him further. The son watches, pleased. His creation prepares to finish him off. Then the doors crash open as Obi-Wan rushes in. Blade drawn. Ahsoka follows close behind. Anakin, don't. Ahsoka. Obi-Wan. No, I have to. He is the root of all of it. And you will take his place if you do this. If you strike him down in hate. He took everything from us. But you're not just vengeance. You're the chosen one. The bringer of hope, not the bringer of destruction. Suddenly, the room goes quiet. A soft glow filters through the broken window from the force itself. A gentle warm glow. He knows the presence immediately. The daughter. You are the chosen one. Not to destroy, but to bring balance. Anakin sees flashes, memories piecing together through the fog. Padme's laugh. Ahsoka smiling in the temple halls. Obi-Wan placing a hand on his shoulder after his knighthood. The children on Tatooine who watched him fly. The Jedi he saved. The lives he touched. The future he still has. The power to protect around him. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan channel their powers, keeping the connection as stable as possible. Their faces strain with effort, but they keep going. Tears brim in his eyes. The blade dims. He turns away from Palpatine and nods at them. But from the corner of his eye, the sun appears from the shadows. You disappoint me. You only wanted me to plunge the galaxy into darkness. Indeed. I am the dark side. The sun unfurls his beast form. Towering, monstrous, wreathed in darkness. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan move to flank him. Anakin ignites his blade once more and rushes down the center. Together, the three warriors attack. The sun lashes out with shadow and flame. His voice a chorus of screams. As his claws lash out, Obi-Wan side steps and hacks at his talons. He hisses in pain. Ahsoka leaps on his back and tries to drive her lightsaber in. Anakin takes the chance to unleash some force lightning, but the beast shrugs it off and tosses Ahsoka aside. Obi-Wan sweeps his lightsaber and unleashes a sudden offensive, trying to drive the creature back. Anakin joins in, using everything the sun showed him, channeling his anger and force rage, unleashing his pain and force shriek and striking with force drain. But these attacks don't stop him. Not anymore than Ahsoka or Obi-Wan's attacks. Each time the force or their lightsabers strike him, those blows simply glance off from his attacks. Ahsoka blinds him with force light, and this sends the creature reeling. Anakin stares up and sees as it comes closest to hitting him, cursing. Anakin rushes at him again, this time using force judgment and sends the sun back. There is more effect, but it does not stop him entirely. Obi-Wan buys Anakin some time with sweeping strikes with the force, unleashing bursts of pure energy. As he parries these attacks, Anakin channels their desperation with battle meditation and urges for calm as he recalls the mortise dagger. He calls on the light side, summoning the calm of the daughter. The energy it provides restores their strength and lets them rush at him again. Obi-Wan and Ahsoka move faster than expected, driving the sun back as Anakin leaps forward, dagger in hand. In a final surge, the mortise dagger appears in his hand, glowing with both blue and red energy, a gift from the force itself. Anakin drives it into the sun's heart. The darkness screams, then fades. But as the sun melts into the shadows, the chamber falls into silence. And far above, in the glowing realm of Mortise, the daughter smiles. Palpatine is taken into custody. His powers no match for Anakin and leaving him helpless. He only hopes to save his life by confessing everything. Meanwhile, as Dooku is gone, the CIS falls into disarray, letting Anakin take the lead and finish them off. But as he does, Anakin considers everything he has learned, not just from the daughter, but also the son. He admits that while the son's powers are evil, there is no doubting their effectiveness and their danger. He begins to form his own order, teaching both methods to show its students how to resist the dark side and defend against its powers. Among those who begin to learn this are Obi-Wan and Ahsoka.
