him to maneuver through the land of ruins and retake everything bit by bit Rob Stark rides the head of his host his direwolf greywind lopping beside him his Bannerman Fierce and loyal rally to his side and recruit what scattered riverlords remain who look to him for guidance and he doesn't not fail them Taiwan Lannister is a ghost each time Rob advances the Lannister Army withdraws slipping past him like smoke through his fingers when Rob takes the village he finds the enemy gone their supply is burned their Trails covered but Rob is no fool he does not allow frustration to dictate his Theon to treat with Balon Greyjoy however the lord of the iron Islands hatred for the Starks is well known as is his fear of Lord Taiwan meanwhile his mobilizations do not go unnoticed the promise of an alliance is all it takes to win the ironborn to his side that and the agreement that any lands taken by the iron Prince shall be Theirs to keep but Taiwan does not stop there he sweetens the deal further with something else the troops not fighting in the riverlands are redeployed in the north under the command of Sir Kevin as the first ironborn long ships land storming the neck in Stony Shore the north is thrown into chaos this allows Kevin Lannister to land with nearly 7,000 men the ironborn were intent on targeting Coastal castles like torren square and bear Island and this is where JN initially focuses his attention he gathers the houses closest to Winterfell and rides out to meet the ironborn each time they capture a castle Lord snow is there to contest it and retake it all along the Stony Shores castles trade hands fortified or recaptured but Brave as the ironborn are they aren't made for a land War lacking the discipline and training to fight the Starks head on their supposed allies are of little help too though the land ministers remain on the field they are happy to leave the ironborn to fight for their conquests the only place which they wish to secure is Mount Kalin the Grey Joys just so happened to make an excellent distraction but doing this they divide Jon's potential strength to make matters worse the situation on the wall has deteriorated further joral Mormont was murdered in Castle black supposedly by whites while some doubt these claims the loss of their commander and other key leadership at such a critical time paralyzed the knights watch they knife of ironborn his Scouts report no signs of them House Bolton kstark and hornwood are also equally confused as there are no sightings of their forces in the lands and then House Umber reports seeing lion banners a few days ride from last Hearth as they prepare for battle keeping close to the castle and readying themselves for a Siege no such Army arrives instead the Lannisters are happy to March past them and straight towards the wall the wall had stood for 8,000 years it has weathered the bite of Winter the fury of War and the passage of Kings who barely remember its purpose but today for the first time in memory it faces an enemy it cannot withstand the attack begins at dawn the free folk come in waves their war cries piercing the frozen air thousands of them Raiders Warriors of house Stark rise once more over the snow covered fields of the north as Rob's reinforcements finally arrive battle warn but determined his army smashes into the disorganized wildlings though they are Fierce Fighters the free folk lack the discipline of the northern host the warhorns of House Umber sound as the northmen drive the Raiders back reclaiming their homes inch by inch Jon Snow leads the charge alongside the Starks cassels and Carowinds in Winterfell his sword flashing in the pale light as he cuts through the Wilding ranks the battle is brutal but after days of Relentless Pursuit the free folk are scattered and Winterfell is saved however it is far from complete as wildling bands remain rampant across the north with some even capturing a few castles the most Troublesome is Mo Kalin which remains under Lannister control preventing Rob's forces from marching South to reclaim the riverlands worse still Taiwan begins his War once again feeling abandoned and without hope the riverlords surrender to tyn Lannister seeing their forces bottle up once again Rob decides to meet with his advisers to discuss their options with their Declaration of Independence no Lord in Westeros will come to their aid the veil remains neutral the stormlands fractured and with Tywin Waring with the baratheons they will not back them Rob must remain North to reassure his Bannerman that he hasn't abandoned them there is one path left to us we must seek an alliance Beyond Westeros Beyond Westeros what what do you mean mother daer is Targaryen she is the last known heir of House Targaryen behind Rob's Army Cotter Pike rides across the coast Gathering his ironborn kin remembering that if the north falls their Kingdom shall be lost yet the dead are never far behind and at times the only thing that stops Rob from being attacked from behind is grey wind who rips at them but as they Retreat South ships behind arrive at White Harbor bringing in reinforcements who hurry to Winterfell at their head Daenerys and Jon ride side by side on their dragons Jon urges them to keep moving hurrying to Winterfell at all costs you fight so fiercely for these people for the stalks but they never their heavy horses trampling the dead as the first two waves fall masses of freed men rush to support them finishing off the survivors Jon and dais land at top winterfalls walls there Rob rallies his forces as they burn through the Dead but as they join forces those slain begin to rise again the Defenders who had fallen moments ago suddenly twist and writhe their eyes blazing and Eerie blue wildlings northmen unsullied and even the Fallen cell swords all wrench back into one life from the corner of his eyes Jon looks out to see a figure raising the Dead the night King we have to move now climbing onto drogon's back Jon mounts Regal together they dive toward the enemy fire trailing behind them Jon and Daenerys ride forth their dragons cutting through the darkness like vengeful gods drogon and Regal burn a path through the horde their Flames carving glowing rivers of Embers into the battlefield but the dead do not scream they simply burn and keep coming from his perch at top the battlefield the Knight King watches them his icy gaze follows Daenerys as she urges drogon forward breaking ahead of Jon Denny wait she doesn't drogon unleashes a torrent of dragon fire a golden straight to King's Landing though three kings claim the Iron Throne they have all exhausted themselves in the fighting each one Falls one by one as their lands are taken by Year's End Daenerys sits
